CANDACE KANE THOMPSON writes and speaks boldly from a Christian perspective and experience on abortion and feminism. Her testimony of healing from an incurable disease and three abortions, as well as deliverance out of the lies of feminism, gives glory to Jesus, the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God in her life for thirty-seven years. Candy’s message of God’s love and grace comes out of a repentant heart of thankfulness while speaking the truth in love.
Candy—a wife for thirty-eight years, mother, grandmother of eleven, and great-grandmother of six—has taught in the public schools in five states after earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina. She and her husband owned a flower gift shop and a propane company. She has been a Mary Kay consultant, a children’s minister in her church, a post-abortion counselor, a missionary to Ukraine, and an advocate for the unborn. She was a valedictorian in the first class at Destiny Bible College in 2000 and is a lover of God’s Word.
As a writer, she has contributed opinions and articles to several local newspapers, winning the prose essay contest at the Colorado Christian Writers Conference in 2016. Liberated by Love, Finding Truth Beyond Lies and Pain is her first book.
She and her husband, Vernon, have a passion to see souls saved and come to the knowledge and understanding of the truth of God’s Word in people’s lives. Their journey of faith in covenant marriage is a witness that nothing is impossible with God. Her greatest encouragers to tell her story have been her husband and her Christian friends and family. Candy’s passion is seeing women set free and truly liberated.
