A Space for Spiritual Support and Guidance for Parents of LGBTQ+ Children
Navigating your child's journey of coming out as LGBTQ+ can bring a mixture of emotions, questions, and challenges. As a parent, you may be seeking comfort, understanding, and spiritual guidance during your journey. We’re here to walk alongside you in your unique experience, offering support rooted in compassion, faith, and love.
Our Approach
Support
We believe that every child, regardless of their identity, is a beloved creation of God, deserving of acceptance, respect, and unconditional love. Our mission is to provide resources, support, and community for parents who are seeking to reconcile their faith with the love they have for their LGBTQ+ child. We understand the complexities of balancing spiritual beliefs and parental love, and we are committed to helping you find peace, strength, and clarity on this transformative journey.
Whether you're looking for resources, stories from other parents, or personalized spiritual guidance, we are here to support you as you embrace your child's truth with an open heart. You are not alone, and together, we can build a more inclusive and loving future for all families.
Faith
We believe that there is no contradiction in embracing the Christian (or other) faith while fully affirming and celebrating your LGBTQ+ child. At the heart of Christianity lies a deep commitment to love, compassion, and understanding. The expansive nature of God’s love encourages us to be curious about the diverse ways in which people are created, recognizing that each individual reflects the beauty and complexity of God's creation. Rather than viewing our faith as something restrictive, we understand it as an invitation to explore the vastness of God’s love, which knows no bounds. In embracing both our Christian values and our LGBTQ+ children, we are not diminishing our faith but rather enriching it, opening ourselves to the fullness of God’s presence and beauty in the world.
